Time doesn't matter; it's the story you create that counts.

Our Story

The soul of Wyler Vetta is born from three distinct worlds: Italian creativity and innovation, American courage and spirit, and Swiss precision and advanced technology. Since 1924, these elements have shaped the brand’s distinctive essence.

A brand dedicated every day to channeling 100 years of expertise into creating innovative and reliable timepieces for dynamic individuals, always on the move, who demand performance and precision without compromising on style.

Our Story

In 1931, Wyler Vetta launched its “Cricchettino” watch from the first platform of the Eiffel Tower (53m). A notary certified the functionality of the movement, protected by INCAFLEX. Although the glass cracked, the movement continued to function perfectly.

In 1956, a second launch took place, again from the Eiffel Tower, this time featuring the Dynastar model. During the construction of the Space Needle in Seattle, another model, the Dynawind, was launched during the 1962 EXPO.

These extraordinary drop tests served as a spectacular demonstration of Wyler Vetta's reliability and durability under extreme conditions.

Einstein and Wyler Vetta

In 1944, Albert Einstein, a refugee in America, fell into the water at Central Park. On his wrist, he wore a Wyler watch. After confirming the watch's functionality, he wrote a letter to the Wyler Corp. in New York, thanking them for creating a waterproof and reliable timepiece an extraordinary feature for that era.

Wyler Vetta and Marketing

Pioneers in

Communication

Wyler Vetta was one of the first brands to understand the importance of marketing and to execute it effectively and innovatively.

Among the various forms of communication used to promote the brand, the colorful advertising campaigns of the 1930s and 1940s were particularly impactful. Another standout example of dynamic advertising emerged in the 1960s.

During this time, a fleet of customized Alfa Romeo vans, adorned with the Wyler Vetta logo and a three-dimensional reproduction of a watch on their sides, crisscrossed Italy.
